The unit's motion sensor provides a 180-degree detection zone up to 70 feet away, with an adjustable sensor that allows for increasing or decreasing its sensitivity to motion--preventing it from lighting up unnecessarily. Furthermore, its adjustable timer can be set to keep the light on for 1, 5, or 20 minutes after detecting motion, while its built-in photocell keeps the light off during daylight hours. Best of all, the security light's solar panel uses the sun's power to charge the Ni-Cd rechargeable batteries (included) during the day. When fully charged, the light will operate for a maximum of 15 days without sunlight. The motion-activated security light measures 2 inches long by 4 inches wide by 10 inches high, while its solar panel measures 1-1/4 inches long by 3-7/8 inches wide by 4 inches high. Heath/Zenith covers the security light with a five-year limited warranty.
